Life Cycle Recycling - Giving new life to household goods

What is Life Cycle?

Life Cycle is a special waste collection service for recycling unwanted household goods.

It is an opportunity for you to help the environment by
diverting household waste from landfill sites while also
helping local charities in need.

The Life Cycle collection service expands upon your
existing kerbside recycling program. While your current recycling service will remain unchanged, on 3 specific days each year the yellow top bin will be used for what is known as a Life Cycle day after collection service.

Household goods will be sorted into groups with suitable items distributed to local charities while other goods will be broken down and recycled.

This website outlines what household items can be
recycled and the 5 easy steps to recycling your unwanted goods.

For collection dates please refer to your fridge magnet or call 1800 838 884.
